The Cape Verde archipelago sits in the Atlantic off the coast of Senegal, a place shaped by wind, light, and the deep cultural mix of Africa and Europe. I spent time on these islands photographing daily life: the rhythm of the streets, the quality of the afternoon sun, and the quiet dignity of the people who inhabit them. The series is an exercise in attentiveness in looking at a place not as a tourist, but as a photographer willing to wait. Cabo Verde is a street and documentary photography series about observation, patience, and everyday life in public space.
