A street performer in white raises a bubble wand on a crowded Kolkata thoroughfare, an enormous iridescent sphere catching the afternoon light just before it vanishes, while behind him the city surges with colour and movement. The bubble is the image's soul: fragile, perfect, and completely at odds with everything around it. Zaïgouche shoots at the exact moment of maximum beauty, just before it is gone.
