A small Romanesque church emerges from dense morning fog, a stone cross in the foreground and bare trees framing the image in the particular grey of the Camino de Santiago in its difficult seasons. My Way to Compostella is a black-and-white series about the act of walking and the landscape one crosses to reach Santiago: older than the religion that sanctified it, darker than the brochures suggest.
