A carnival or street celebration crowd at night, smoke rising and arms raised, the image dense with sound even in silence. Under the Flag moves between the political and the festive with the understanding that both are forms of collective speech, and that the body raised in celebration and the body raised in protest are performing, ultimately, the same act.
