A woman's hair is blown forward across her face by a strong wind, obscuring her features and replacing her expression with the pure physical fact of weather. The Women series is occasionally about this kind of partial erasure: the moment when the body is shaped by forces from outside itself, becoming briefly more event than person. From the series.
